Saltillo waltzed into their matchup on Friday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over Lake Cormorant. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-1 last Tuesday.

LANSTON KENT looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, BAYLOR ROBERTS was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was JACK ADAMS, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Saltillo pushed their record up to 17-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Lake Cormorant, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
