Volleyball Recap: Catholic - N.I. Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

Catholic - N.I. won the last time they faced Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Catholic - N.I. was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-13.

Amelie Trappey paced Catholic - N.I.'s offense, picking up 11 kills. Trappey got some help from Renee Frederick and her 19 assists. Addisyn Derouen controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Catholic - N.I. has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-14 record this season. As for Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Catholic - N.I. will welcome North Vermilion at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy, they will be playing at home against St. Martinville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
