Volleyball Recap: Garaway Finds Home Court Redemption Against Strasburg-Franklin

There's no place like home for Garaway, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Strasburg-Franklin Tigers 3-2. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Garaway had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 19-25, 25-17, 25-16, 15-7.

Audrey Miller paced Garaway's offense, picking up 28 kills. Miller got some help from Charlee Yoder and her 50 assists. Miller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Garaway's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Strasburg-Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
