Ian Mckinnon Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Southeast Guilford's Ian Mckinnon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Mckinnon forced a fumble and made ten total tackles. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (82) he has had since back in September of 2023. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Southeast Guilford is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

Ragsdale's probably not too fond of Brandon given he always seems to get the better of them. When Brandon last faced the Tigers back in October of 2023, he threw for 297 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.

Teriq Mclaughlin Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Southeast Guilford got the W thanks in part to Teriq Mclaughlin playing the best football he has all season. Mclaughlin rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns.
This season, Mclaughlin has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 75.3 rushing yards per game.

Mitchell Summers and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Mitchell Summers's big game helped extend Grimsley's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Summers as he rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also caught a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last ten games he's played dating back to last season.
If history really does repeat itself, Summers might just drop another big game when he faces off against Southwest Guilford on Friday. When Summers last faced the Cowboys back in October of 2023, he rushed for 183 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.

Hall Came Up Big in Northern Guilford's 17-10 Win
Dwight Hall's big game helped extend Northern Guilford's winning streak to seven on Friday. Hall turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 157 yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023.
This year, Hall has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 93.7 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns.
