Whitmer had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Central Catholic Fighting Irish with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Fighting Irish recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While Whitmer won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-14, 25-15.

Whitmer has already played their next game (against Southview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Central Catholic, they will head out to challenge Perkins at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
