Manitowoc Lincoln has gone 8-2 against Sheboygan South recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Ships will be playing in front of their home fans against the Redwings at 11:00 a.m. Sheboygan South took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Manitowoc Lincoln, who comes in off a win.

Manitowoc Lincoln took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Notre Dame Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Ships sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over the Tritons on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Ships as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Anya Hall, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Peterson, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Sheboygan South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-0 to Bay Port.

Manitowoc Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Sheboygan South, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Manitowoc Lincoln took their victory against Sheboygan South in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-0 score. Do the Ships have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Redwings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
