The Corinth Holders Pirates will face off against the Wakefield Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Corinth Holders is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.

Corinth Holders came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Broughton, falling 5-2. Corinth Holders haven't had much luck with Broughton recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Ioannis Dubchak and Forrest Sprowl scored both of Corinth Holders' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Wakefield made sure to put some goals up on the board against Enloe on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 5-1 victory. With Wakefield ahead 3-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Wakefield now has a winning record of 8-7-3. As for Corinth Holders, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
