2A-2 Region I District 1 recap December 3, 2013

Canadian extended the longest winning streak in 2A-2 Region I District 1 this week by beating Sonora, 28-14. This was the team's 11th consecutive win.

Canadian made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,538 from 1,646. The improvement was largely due to a 28-14 victory over the Broncos last week.

Canadian's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ben Arbuckle has thrown for 3,166 yards and 43 touchdowns this season, while Boston Hudson has 57 catches for 933 yards.

Hudson of the Chris Koetting's team's is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 67 receiving yards in this week's game against Cisco to get there. So far this year, he has garnered 57 catches for 933 yards.

The Wildcats led the league in scoring this week by notching 28 points on Sonora.
