Soccer Recap: Glenwood Springs Gets the Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Glenwood Springs walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Niwot Cougars on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Glenwood Springs.

They hit Niwot with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Angel Nunez, Jeziah Hernandez, and Anderson Orellana.

Glenwood Springs' win bumped their record up to 6-7-2. As for Niwot, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 9-5-2 record.

Glenwood Springs wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-2 defeat against Golden on the 5th. Niwot does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
