Basketball Recap: Eden Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Eden Christian Academy lost against Serra Catholic back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Eden Christian Academy came up short against the Serra Catholic Eagles, falling 82-58.

Serra Catholic's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Owen Dumbroski, who posted 21 points and four steals. The matchup was Dumbroski's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Graham, who went 7 of 8 on his way to 16 points along with five boards and five steals.

Eden Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Serra Catholic, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Eden Christian Academy will challenge Sewickley Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Serra Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-48 victory against California on the 12th.
