Soccer Game Preview: Easley vs. Woodmont

For the first time this season, Easley will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Thursday. They will be playing at home against the Woodmont Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Woodmont took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Easley, who comes in off a win.

Easley's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Pickens with a sharp 5-0 victory. Yulizza Maximo-Hayes was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Woodmont had taken Greenwood down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. Woodmont lost 8-0 to Greenwood. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The win made it two in a row for Easley and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Woodmont, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
