Softball Recap: Immaculata-La Salle Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Immaculata-La Salle's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Mater Bay Academy Rays on Wednesday. The Royal Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Rays from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Immaculata-La Salle has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Mater Bay Academy, they moved to 7-9 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Immaculata-La Salle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mater Bay Academy, they will square off against Key West at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rays' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Conchs have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
