Basketball Recap: Eastern Guilford Comes Up Short

Eastern Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 72-28 loss at the hands of the Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Eastern Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Ben L. Smith, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats duke it out with the Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ben L. Smith, they will square off against Northeast Guilford at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
