Baseball Game Preview: Cocalico Eagles vs. Daniel Boone Blazers

The Cocalico Eagles will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Daniel Boone Blazers at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Cocalico is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 9-2 to Solanco on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Cocalico saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Davis, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two runs. The dominant performance gave Davis a new career-high in runs. Another was Colton Stoltzfus, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Daniel Boone didn't have quite enough to beat Pottsville on Saturday and fell 6-5.
