Recap: Heights Bulldogs vs. Westside Wolves
The Heights Bulldogs suffered their biggest loss since December 28, 2023 on Saturday. They were beaten by Westside 58-24. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Heights in their matchups with Westside: they've now lost four in a row.
Mira Johnson was Heights' leading scorer, having posted 14 points.
Danielle Robinson held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Westside had a senior duo take command as Te?lynn Lee-rose scored 11 points along with five rebounds and five steals and Neso Anisiobi dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Anisiobi is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Krysten Carter was another key contributor, scoring five points along with three steals.
Heights' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-12. As for Westside, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 21-7.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Westbury the next time they take the court. Heights will head out to face Westbury at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, while Westside will host them at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
