Basketball Recap: HEA Firebirds Homeschool Extends Winning Streak to Five

HEA Firebirds HomeSchool waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 67-61 W against the Christian Educational Consortium Cougars.

When it comes to explaining why Christian Educational Consortium lost, don't look at Chase Williams. Despite the final result, he went 11-for-14 on his way to 24 points and six assists. That's the most assists Williams has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Deven Moore, who scored 15 points.

HEA Firebirds HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 31-3. As for Christian Educational Consortium, their loss dropped their record down to 18-12.

HEA Firebirds HomeSchool wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-56 defeat against Tennessee Heat on the 21st. As for Christian Educational Consortium, they have also already played their next game, a 51-38 loss against Indianapolis Northwest W on the 21st.
