Softball Recap: Southeastern RVT Comes Up Short

Southeastern RVT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Stoughton Black Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Black Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-1 back in April.

Southeastern RVT saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Becca Hornung, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.

Southeastern RVT's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Stoughton, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Coming up, Southeastern RVT will venture away from home to challenge Bristol-Plymouth RVT at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. The Craftsmen will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight. Stoughton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
