Softball Recap: Salem Hills' Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Salem Hills put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Hurricane Tigers with a sharp 19-8 victory.

Keyana Murray was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Audree Stokes was another key player, going 1-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Salem Hills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Salem Hills' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hurricane, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Salem Hills will face off against Uintah at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hurricane, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Hurricane Tigers face off against Payson Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
