Fuquay - Varina never let their opponents score on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Triton Hawks 35-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bengals' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Hawks are ranked 272nd).

Fuquay - Varina now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Triton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Fuquay - Varina will host Willow Spring at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Triton, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lee County at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. The game will give the Hawks their first taste of in-conference action this season.
