Volleyball Recap: Lincolnview Takes a Loss

Lincolnview lost against New Knoxville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lancers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers. While the Lancers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rangers 25-21 in the first set.

Lincolnview couldn't get the win, but they sure gave New Knoxville a tough time in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 30-28, 25-21, 28-26.

Kara Suever paced Lincolnview's offense, picking up 14 kills. Suever got some help from Makynlee Dickinson and her 42 assists. Dickinson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Lincolnview's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for New Knoxville, their record now sits at 9-11.

Looking ahead, Lincolnview will head out on the road to take on Defiance at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Knoxville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Parkway on the 7th.
