Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Utica, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They breezed past Lakewood to the tune of 43-0 on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Redskins' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Newark Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Utica, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Newark Catholic suffered a grim 33-7 defeat to Utica in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Green Wave avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
