Basketball Game Preview: Firestone Falcons vs. East Dragons

The Firestone Falcons will challenge the East Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Friday, Firestone came up short against Ellet and fell 54-45. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 66-57 to Garfield Community Learning Center. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 611th, while the Golden Rams are ranked 161st).

East's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Firestone, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Firestone didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against East when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 77-73 victory.
