Basketball Game Preview: Allen Mustangs vs. Wynnewood Savages

The Allen Mustangs will take on the Wynnewood Savages in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

If Allen beats Wynnewood with 66 points on Thursday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Allen claimed a resounding 66-28 victory over Stratford. The game marked the Mustangs' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Wynnewood humbled Fox with a 61-16 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Savages.

Wynnewood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Allen, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.
