Basketball Recap: London Hardy Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Locust Grove

It was a proper cat-fight when M.L. King took on Locust Grove on Friday. The Lions came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 41-33.

M.L. King's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was London Hardy, who posted four points in addition to nine rebounds and three steals. Hardy is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Olivia Hopkins was another key player, putting up seven points along with five boards and three steals.

M.L. King was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

M.L. King's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Locust Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

M.L. King didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-16 win against Berkmar on the 24th. As for Locust Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 107-28 loss against Morrow on the 22nd.
