Basketball Recap: Crisp Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to 55 points the game before, Crisp Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They came up short against the Southland Academy Raiders, falling 50-25. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-42 back in November of 2024.

Crisp Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Southland Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 5-8 record.

Crisp Academy will square off against Highland Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southland Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Tiftarea Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
