Volleyball Recap: West Brunswick Takes a Loss

West Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Laney Buccaneers, falling 3-0. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Buccaneers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-18.

Natalie Dickerson was the offensive standout of the game as she had 19 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last four times she's played.

West Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Laney, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Brunswick will take on South Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Laney, they will challenge Ashley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
