Who's up and who's down

No Stoppin 'Em

Chiawana was the better team in every quarter against Pasco last week and consequently the better team overall. Chiawana picked up a decisive 'W' against Pasco, finishing up at 84 - 0. At 84 points, that marked Chiawana's largest margin of victory so far this year. At 84 total points, this was the highest scoring power ranking game of the week.

Big Showdown

It was a battle of top-notch squads when Ferndale (7th in the state) took on Oak Harbor (27th) last week. Ferndale battled it out with Oak Harbor for a well-earned 29 - 28 overtime win. The outcome was a definite jolt of excitement for Ferndale after its previous game, where the margin was anything but close.

This Week's Big Showdown

One of the hottest tickets last week involved the clash between O'Dea (5th in the power rankings) and Rainier Beach (24th). O'Dea had all the answers against Rainier Beach, winning 49 - 28. The high-scoring offensive effort was a definite turnaround from O'Dea's flat performance last game.
