Volleyball Recap: Vale Falls Short of Burns in the Playoffs

Vale and Burns squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Vale had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hilanders by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hilanders this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat on October 9th.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Vale sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 21-25, 25-16, 23-25, 15-5.

Bailey Temple went supernova For Burns., getting 27 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Temple has posted since back in September.

With the loss, Vale broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-9. As for Burns, they are on a roll lately: they've won 25 of their last 26 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 38-1-1 record this season.
