Recap: Louisburg Warriors vs. Bunn Wildcats
Even though The Louisburg Warriors have not done well against the Bunn Wildcats recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Louisburg blew past Bunn, posting a 28-0 victory on the road. The win was familiar territory for Louisburg who now have three in a row.
Donte' Strickland jr looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 100 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 105 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Isaiah Eddie was another key contributor, gaining 130 total yards and a touchdown.
Louisburg has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Bunn, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Louisburg will look to defend their home field on Friday against Northwood at 7:00 p.m. Northwood is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Bunn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
