Volleyball Recap: Longmeadow's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Longmeadow won the last time they faced Belchertown, and Chris Bousquet did his part to make sure it happened again. The Lancers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Orioles on Monday for which the team can thank Bousquet, who had 18 digs and two aces. Bousquet is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least ten every time he's taken the court this season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-10.

The victory made it two in a row for Longmeadow and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Belchertown, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Longmeadow will be playing in front of their home fans against Minnechaug Regional at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belchertown, they will venture away from home to square off against Chicopee Comp at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Colts will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Orioles surely won't give up without a fight.
