The Tarboro Vikings will head out to challenge the Louisburg Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tarboro is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Tarboro took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Louisburg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Tarboro had just enough and edged out Louisburg 13-12. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Tarboro let Cole Craddock and Gabriel Kassnove run wild. Craddock scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances, while Kassnove scored two runs while going 2-for-5. That stolen base was Craddock's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kip Biggs, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-4.

This is the second loss in a row for Louisburg and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Tarboro, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
