Recap: Prairie View Academy Spartans vs. Hillcrest Christian Cougars
The Prairie View Academy Spartans suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were outmatched by Hillcrest Christian on the road and fell 75-45. If Prairie View Academy hoped to take revenge for the 65-29 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Hillcrest Christian can attribute much of their success to Ryan Bradley, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. That's the first time this season that Bradley scored 15 or more points. Ethan Battle was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Prairie View Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-5 record this season. As for Hillcrest Christian, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-6.
Prairie View Academy will head out on the road to square off against River Oaks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hillcrest Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Porter's Chapel Academy at 7:30 p.m.
