The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Nate Lawton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. South Hunterdon is undefeated when Lawton allows three or fewer hits, but 7-9 otherwise. Lawton was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI.

In other batting news, Aaron Parisi was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases.
