Volleyball Recap: Kankakee Takes a Loss

Kankakee lost against Providence Catholic back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Kays fell 2-0 to the Celtics.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11.

Ki'Asia Wilson paced Kankakee's offense, picking up two kills. Wilson got some help from Elizabeth Avalos and her three assists. Avalos was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Kankakee's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Kankakee has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Joliet Central on the 2nd. As for Providence Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Peoria Christian on the 30th.
