Basketball Recap: Southeast Halifax Trojans vs. Weldon Chargers

Southeast Halifax fought the good fight in their overtime game against Weldon on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 71-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weldon Chargers. The Trojans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Despite the loss, Southeast Halifax saw an underclassman step up: sophomore O'Tavion Arrington went 12-for-18 to rack up 36 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That was a full 56.3% of Southeast Halifax's points, marking the third time in a row Arrington has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Arthur Joseph Jr., who put up ten points and three steals.
