Football Recap: Dillon Skates Past Fox Creek with Ease

With a playoff win on the line, Dillon rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Fox Creek Predators 49-8. Considering the Wildcats have won seven contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Despite the loss, Fox Creek still got an impressive performance from Bryson Crawford, who rushed for 143 yards and one score. Crawford is becoming a predictor of the Predators' success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 4-2 (and 1-4 when he doesn't).

Dillon is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.1 points on average over those games. As for Fox Creek, they dropped their record down to 5-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Dillon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 42-7 win against Silver Bluff on the 14th. Fox Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
