Volleyball Recap: Irvington Takes a Loss

Irvington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Washington Huskies, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-8.

Irvington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Washington, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Irvington is set to face off against their familiar foe Mission San Jose at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Washington will challenge rival American at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
