Having just played yesterday, the Lewis County Lions will jump right back in to play the Scott Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lewis County will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Russell, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Lewis County snuck past Russell with a 57-52 win on Friday. While the Lions didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Scott sidestepped Boone County for a 50-47 victory.

Lewis County better keep an eye on Aaron Hampton. He was instrumental in Scott's win, going 9 for 16 on his way to 22 points and seven boards. The dominant performance also gave Hampton a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Kaymon Coleman, who posted nine points.

Lewis County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Scott, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
