Volleyball Recap: Muscle Shoals Comes Up Short

Muscle Shoals suffered their biggest loss since September 16th on Thursday. They came up short against the Hartselle Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Tuesday.

While Muscle Shoals was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-19.

Taylor Reaviel was the offensive standout of the match as she had 17 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last nine matchups.

Muscle Shoals now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Hartselle, they pushed their record up to 30-10 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Muscle Shoals has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Deshler on the 4th. As for Hartselle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Winston County on the 4th.
