Soccer Recap: Amherst County Comes Up Short

Amherst County came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Liberty Christian Bulldogs, falling 6-0. If Amherst County were looking for revenge after losing 7-1 to Liberty Christian when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Amherst County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Liberty Christian, their record now sits at 2-0.
