Baseball Recap: Cathedral Takes a Loss

After flying high against Chaparral last Tuesday, Cathedral came back down to earth. The Cathedral Fighting Irish came up short against the Sandia Matadors on Friday, falling 10-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Fighting Irish have suffered since February 14th.

Cathedral's loss dropped their record down to 12-6-1. As for Sandia, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Cathedral has already played their next match, an 8-3 win against New Mexico Military Institute on the 15th. As for Sandia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-9 victory against Da Vinci on the 15th.
