Basketball Recap: Rush Springs' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Rush Springs's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 40-35 W over the Verden Tigers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Redskins as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Rush Springs' win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Verden, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Rush Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 41-27 defeat against Dibble on the 25th. As for Verden, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Verden Tigers take on the Amber-Pocasset Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Amber-Pocasset will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Verden surely won't give up without a fight.
