Baseball Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

Eastern's last matchup with Western could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. The Comets lost 18-3 to the Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Comets in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Eastern saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Tolle, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Trey Beachy was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Western, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

Eastern has already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Delphi Community on the 6th. As for Western, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-1 victory against North Miami on the 6th.
