Football Recap: Madison Memorial Comes Up Short

Madison Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Verona Wildcats at home by a 24-7 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Blake Adams threw for 53 yards on six of 17 attempts.

Madison Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Verona, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
