Basketball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison lost against Draughn back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Madison Patriots were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 68-67 to the Draughn Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by just one point.

Madison has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Draughn, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Rosman the next time they take the court. Madison will host Rosman at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Draughn will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
