Basketball Recap: River Valley Extends Home Winning Streak to 17

River Valley won the last time they faced Buckeye Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the River Valley Vikings' way against the Buckeye Valley Barons as the River Valley Vikings made off with a 67-43 victory. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season.

River Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chase Smith led the charge by going 6 of 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 28 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Myers, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points per game.
