Baseball Preview: Martin Luther King Cougars vs. George Washington Eagles
The Martin Luther King Cougars are taking a road trip to face off against the George Washington Eagles at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While Cougars fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They came out on top against Franklin Learning Center by a score of 15-10 last Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row dating back to last season.

Jordan Thompson and Kingsley Snyder made a big impact no matter where they played. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Ishmail Crawford-Mathis was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Meanwhile, George Washington beat Prep Charter 8-3 on Wednesday.
