Soccer Recap: Tallmadge Takes a Loss

Tallmadge came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Roosevelt Rough Riders, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Tallmadge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 331st, while Roosevelt are ranked 85th).

Tallmadge's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-4. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 9-5-3.

Looking ahead, Tallmadge will take on Aurora in a tournament on the 16th. As for Roosevelt, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
