LaBrae had to endure a seven-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Crestwood Red Devils on Saturday as they made off with an 8-3 win. Considering LaBrae's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

LaBrae's victory bumped their record up to 2-9-1. As for Crestwood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

LaBrae has already played their next match, a 5-0 defeat against Garfield on the 22nd. As for Crestwood, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Villa Angela-St. Joseph at 5:00 p.m. on October 2.
