Softball Recap: Andrews Beats Timberland for Their Fifth Straight Win

Andrews came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 22-11 margin over the Timberland Wolves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 last Wednesday.

Andrews pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Timberland, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Andrews will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Waccamaw at 6:00 p.m. on April 3. As for Timberland, they are taking a road trip to face off against Charleston Math & Science at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
